Hi froth, on what platform are you running Squeezecenter? If we know that we can help identify the location of superdatetime.prefs I have managed to solve *all* my problems by digging around in the Squeezecenter settings. I don't know if it will assist anyone else, but there are further configuration options available in the player tab (using the drop down menu that's initially labelled "Basic Settings").
