I used it for a while a back in 2005, and liked it. Unfortunately, the author went essentially incommunicado for about 6 months, and then only rarely popped up, or responded to support or forum requests. A number of die hard fans were rightly upset.
About a year after I ditched OrangeCD for J. River's Media Center, the author became more active again in development and support of the software, and later added Squeezebox support.
