Do you know how to use your mac? You've said that you are new to SqueezeCenter/Squeezebox. I said that SqueezeCenter has a preference pane, and I *mean* preference pane. That's an item in the System Preferences, not a setting in the Web interface to SqueezeCenter. You don't actually *need* a static IP address. But if you have a dynamic address, then you will need to find out what it currently is from time to time. With a static address, you can bookmark the relevant address in Mobile Safari, for instance I have a bookmark to http:192.168.1.3:9000/iPeng. Here 192.168.1.3 is my static address, 9000 is the default port for communication with SqueezeCenter, and the /iPeng chooses the skin that is used. That's with the current arrangement, where iPeng is a plugin, not a native app. I don't give details of how to create a static address, as this depends partly on your router. And nobody used the word "reset" anywhere, though "reboot" was used. The power button you mention, unless I am misunderstanding you, is the one that turns the Squeezebox on and off remotely. (Technical point. The SB is never truly off, rather it is on or in standby.
