If you've got a firewall running on your server machine, you'll possibly need to add a rule allowing TCP port 9092 out.. I'm assuming Moose's now playing screen works ok ? Moose doesnt write-back to mysql, so another option might be to run Moose locally on your server, scan, then copy the .moo file to your remote machine.
