I'm currently in the proces of upgrading my mp3 collection to flac, but I would like to do that with as little loss of trackstat data as possible. If I copy the flac files with an identical filename into the same directory does Trackstat notice the difference? In other words does Trackstat use the extension of a file (.mp3 or .flac) as an identifier?
If it does what would be possible worarounds apart from manually changing the database (which would be my last resort...)
