Well I finally got the listen again function working but only by upgrading everything to 7.x This involved updating firmware first then removing old slimserver (not easy), installing new squeezecentre then finally AlienBBC.
I think updates should be easier now but why is it so difficult in this day and age to install a piece of software on a computer!
