I have 2 things in my mind, perhaps you can tell me if it's ideas or something else:
1) Server log to RSS feed Could this be the road to the new sysinfo plugin ? Are you aware of any syslog parser for unix that would output RSS ? 2) Mail reader It is possible to feed incoming mail to Festival; From there, generate an audio file that could be played from an SB remote. From far far ago I remember Festival's aural rendering is kinda funny but you can get used to it. Someone tried this ?
