I'll have a new version up shortly. Behavior for "attempt mid-song" now
seems good. Jumping in with the "wait for" was pretty ugly (stuttering
for a few seconds before stabilizing) when I simply called the
Code:

$master->controller()->sync($client);
--------------------
API, so now when you have it set for "attempt mid-song" and press
right, SO will pause the master sync group, run the 7.3 code, and then
un-sync. It's still better than I recall 7.0 behaving, thanks to awy's
work.
