Hi Phil, you are right. The spdif is active all the time. The problem as I found out as I had time to investigate is vice versa i.e the spdif is even active when the tp is powered down (I can see the light coming from the output when I plug a cable). So why does the spdif not switch off when I power down the unit via remote or squeezecenter?! If the spdif went dark when the unit powers down the job would be done. The only way I found to achieve this however is to plug the power cable from tp. Any ideas. Is there a setting I miss which turns off all outputs when powering down? I know there is such a setting for analogue stages. So why not for the digital side? Thanks Jeronimo
