Hope someone can help with this issue which may be iPeng related? Some background first:
- I'm running SC 7.2.1 on XP - I'm using iTunes to define my music library and playlists - I'm using the latest version of iPeng from the app store on my iTouch Here's the problem, I have a large number of tracks in my iTunes music library where the album is not defined. I was experiencing some issues with randon information being dsplyaed when I selected such tracks in iPeng. I subsequently went through the music library in iTunes and wherever there was a track without an album defined then I edited the information and just inserted "unknown" in the album space. I will eventually get around to correcting this information (may take some time!). However, this has not fixed the problem, when I now select a track on Ipeng (via Artists) where the album is "unknown" it displays underneath the "unknown" album an artist name. This artist name is not the artist name of the track selected (via Artists) although it does play the correct track. There doesn't appear to be any correlation as to which artist name is displayed. If I use the browser interface on my PC to go directly to SC then everything appears normal, indeed, no artist is displayed when the album is "unknown" for any particular artist which would seem normal. Any help/pointers greatly appreciated.
