Could you try the just released versions of SQL Playlist and Dynamic Playlist.
I suspect it isn't going to solve your problems, so if it doesn't I would like you to enable logging on "plugin.dynamicplaylist" and "plugin.sqlplaylist" and post the log when a playlist has failed.
