If you look inside the Custom Browse plugin directory you will find four different directories: - ContextTemplates (Contains templates for the headers in the web interface, the song info web page and the track details menu) - ContextMenus (Contains all pre-defined headers and song info/track details entries) - Templates (Contains template for menus) - Menus (Contains all pre-defined menus) You could try to remove all files which you aren't using in these directories, this should make it use a bit less resources. In the Multi Library configuration it's also important that you have unchecked any menu checkboxes which you aren't using. For each multi library defined its menus will probably use more resources, so unchecking those you don't need should take care of this. If you haven't done so already, you can also try to only use Custom Browse on the NAS without Multi Library. I think Custom Browse uses more resources if a number of libraries in Multi Library plugin has been defined. pl7;384090 Wrote: > do you think there is a chance that a "lite" version with only the > built-in templates, for example, could reduce the requirements > significantly? > What functionality and menus would a lite version have to contain to be useful ? Do you need both Multi Library and Custom Browse on the NAS or is it enough with Custom Browse ? -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57839 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
