Thanks for the advice! The Samsung remote is received by the SB, the commands are logged to the server.log file. I dumped all usable buttons to the logfile and created a Samsung.IR file. Works perfectly, thanks Erland.
@Peter: I have a 2.5 years old daughter, so I'll give your plugin a try, although my ears are already a little allergic to Kinderlieder...
