Hi, .jnlp files are indeed Java web start related. I'm sure some of the readers could make educated guesses about what goes wrong if you provide:
- the OS you're working on (i.e. Windows XP or linux ubuntu 8.0.4) - the Java version you're working with (try "java -version" on the command line) - any (error) messages the system produces - whether you have other processes using the soundcard (mostly important on linux with alsa) Without some info it will become a long list of guesses.
