Do you have a suggestion as to how to incorporate system activity monitoring into SrvrPowerCtrl...and in a way that is cross platform?
I suppose one way would be to provide a series of system service/deamon executables that monitor system activity and then set & clear SrvrPowerCtrl blocks via the cli. This is tending towards the approach that Epoch1970 suggested several weeks ago. E.G. for windows, a service that monitors network, keyboard & mouse activity and sets a block on activity and clears it after a period of no activity. I think I could even write such a service for windows, given enough free time. I'd be at sea trying to write one for linux, however...and I wouldn't even know where to start in terms of one for OSX. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
