I am seeing this too, so can confirm it is also a bug on 7.3.3 on Mac OS X. I have also noticed a few occasions when iTunes Update seems to have stopped updating completely. Not sure I can track down when this happens, but restarting SC brings it back to life again.
Incidentally, are there any plans to add iTunes Update to the new Extension Download repository? I still have this installed in the good old fashioned Plugin directory.
