The "no programs" when looking at a Schedule was due to a change in BBC html. I am currently testing a new release to fix this bug.
The URL cache is kept in directory FileCache. Stop SC and delete the directory FileCache in the SC Cache directory. Look in Webui Settings/Information for location of cache directory. At peak times BBC servers get a bit slow to respond with Web pages. Your ISP links between UK-US may also get congested at peak times. If a complete page is not received within 5 secs - the parser will consider the page invalid and so get "no programs".
