Bumping this up as I am seeing same issue as original poster with recent upgrade to SC Version: 7.3.3 - 25067 on Ubuntu. Using Alien BBC (v2.4a4-7.3) and have no problems w/ RTSP or WMA on SB3 and SBR. AACpmplayer also working with AAC+ streams on all players.
On Softsqueeze and SB1, WMA streams are silent with this output: [09-02-20 08:31:12.9660] Slim::Player::Song::__ANON__ (215) Track updated by scan: mms://uni5.cox.streamaudio.com/WSB_AM -> mms://uni5.cox.streamaudio.com/WSB_AM [09-02-20 08:31:12.9668] Slim::Player::Song::getNextSong (178) mms://uni5.cox.streamaudio.com/WSB_AM [09-02-20 08:31:12.9674] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_nextTrackReady (653) 00:0a:3a:50:5c:06: nextTrack will be index 0 [09-02-20 08:31:12.9678] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Stream (927) 00:0a:3a:50:5c:06: preparing to stream song index 0 [09-02-20 08:31:12.9684] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Stream (942) Song queue is now 0 [09-02-20 08:31:12.9689] Slim::Player::Song::open (302) mms://uni5.cox.streamaudio.com/WSB_AM [09-02-20 08:31:12.9705] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::getConvertCommand2 (458) Matched: wma->flc via: [mplayer.sh] -really-quiet -vc null -vo null $START$ $DURATION$ -cache 128 -af volume=0 -ao pcm:file=/dev/fd/3 $FILE$ | [flac] -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 - [09-02-20 08:31:12.9710] Slim::Player::Song::open (323) seek=false time=0 canSeek=2 [09-02-20 08:31:12.9719] Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::getConvertCommand2 (458) Matched: wma->flc via: [mplayer.sh] -really-quiet -vc null -vo null $START$ $DURATION$ -cache 128 -af volume=0 -ao pcm:file=/dev/fd/3 $FILE$ | [flac] -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 - [09-02-20 08:31:12.9723] Slim::Player::Song::open (340) Transcoder: streamMode=R, streamformat=flc [09-02-20 08:31:12.9739] Slim::Player::Song::open (457) Tokenized command "/var/lib/squeezecenter/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Alien/Bin/mplayer.sh" -really-quiet -vc null -vo null -cache 128 -af volume=0 -ao pcm:file=/dev/fd/3 "mms://uni5.cox.streamaudio.com/WSB_AM" | "/usr/bin/flac" -cs --totally-silent --compression-level-0 - & | [09-02-20 08:31:12.9868] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Stream (991) 00:0a:3a:50:5c:06: stream [09-02-20 08:31:12.9993] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Stream (1021) Song queue is now 0 [09-02-20 08:31:13.0000] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_setPlayingState (1854) new playing state BUFFERING [09-02-20 08:31:13.0004] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_setStreamingState (1867) new streaming state STREAMING [09-02-20 08:31:13.0555] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (499) end of file or error on socket, song pos: 12788736 [09-02-20 08:31:13.0559] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (508) Didn't stream any bytes for this song, so just mark it as played [09-02-20 08:31:13.0564] Slim::Player::StreamingController::playerTrackStarted (1673) 00:0a:3a:50:5c:06 [09-02-20 08:31:13.0568] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_setPlayingState (1854) new playing state PLAYING [09-02-20 08:31:13.0572] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Playing (359) Song 0 has now started playing [09-02-20 08:31:13.0584] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_Playing (388) Song queue is now 0 [09-02-20 08:31:13.0591] Slim::Player::Source::_readNextChunk (515) 00:0a:3a:50:5c:06 mark end of stream [09-02-20 08:31:13.0597] Slim::Player::StreamingController::_setStreamingState (1867) new streaming state STREAMOUT Permissions are good and mplayer can play the stream within Ubuntu. Not sure how to work around this - Lem apparently modified his aacplus convert file?? Has there been a change in 7.3.3 that is affecting mplayer.sh and WMA streams?? -- atlslim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ atlslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3054 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58217 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
