It seems that squeezecenter runs stable now - it's up and running - and stays there - but still there is no songs..
The scanner.log and perfmon.log - are both empty and at 0.0kb. By the way.. I chmodded everything in the music-folder, to 777.. That helped.. It now discovers my music-files.. duh! IT WORKS, IT WORKS!! Fantastic! I will now attempt to make my chumby act as a remote.. I thank you very much for your help and persistence, in solving my problem..
