Seems to be a timeout issue — see 'Bug 10670' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10670).
On my development system, I changed a timeout in MusicIP’s -Plugin.pm- from 5s to 10s and it never happened again. tamanaco: Happens to me on the Controller too.
