Well, I'm not going to comment on the companies financial woes, customer service, market strategy, etc. - I'm still a fan of XM and hope they stick around because I like the content, pure and simple.
That said, some good news, I think, at least for users of the plugin on 7.2.x. It looks like they are keeping their existing infrastructure in place (at least for now) and the old xm plugin will continue to work on 7.2.1. They haven't upgraded my account yet (nor a lot of others, as per the angry users on the xmfan forum) but I signed up for a trial account that does have the 128kbps feed, and I'm able to log in with the xm plugin. Right now I see (and hear) it going at 128kbps.
