This plugin has been working great for me, but for the last couple of days it has just been showing the weather.com logo and the little "thinking" star.
Nothing has changed as far as I know. I'm on 7.3.2 and SDT 5.8.5 (installed via extension downloader). Settings on player and server seem ok (I've not touched them). I got a new router at roughly the same time, but internet works fine - I can stream radio on the SB, so I doubt it's this.
