Album ratings in SqueezeCenter are calculated based on the track ratings of the tracks on the album. In this calculation unrated tracks will be used the same as a three star rated track. The reason for this is to avoid situations where you get a lot of top rated albums where only a single song is good and has been rated with five stars and you have left the rest unrated. The idea is that the albums you typically buy probably represents a three star rating, so until rated it will appear with an album rating of three stars. The question is why it doesn't get stored when there isn't any error message in the log.
