I had to reinstall my WHS OS today and once SqueezeCenter had been installed I tried to install the very nice and indispensable IR Plugin.
I installed (v5.5) via the SC interface but noticed there's wasn't a folder named IRPlugin in either of the plugin folders. I made the folder and recorded some custom commands from my Denon remote, all went well but it doesn't work. Then I tried copying the contents of the IR Blaster folder from the Gwen Design download (v5.4) as well as my new .conf file and it still didn't work. Testing it as Slim doesn't work either - the blaster shows no sign of life and I've no reason to doubt that it's faulty as it was working fine with the IR plugin for quite some time before. Now, why woudn't there be any IRBlaster folder anywhere if I installed it via the SC interface and why wouldn't it work when I manually installed the plugin (removing the installed version first)? I've been trying to fix it for hours but I'm getting nowhere.... All help welcome!!
