Yes, you have to perform a copy. I seem to be seeing some odd results. It should be completely automatic, though sometimes SqueezeCenter doesn't seem to respect the new pref right away. For instance, when I tested linking power off brightness, if a linked player was already off, I had to turn it on and then back off for the pref to be recognized. (SettingsManager sees all pref changes and applies changes to the other players as appropriate.)
