The same error message has been reported by other users for different plugins so it appears to be a download issue which affects some users.
You could try a manual install. 1. Note the full directory path for your ED plugins (i.e. ending with InstalledPlugins/Plugins) Stop SC. 2. Download the zip file http://homepage.eircom.net/~altondsl/repos/SoftSqueeze-v39b1.ZIP 3. Unzip the file into the ED Plugins directory noted in 1. 4. If necessary change ownership ands permissions to be the same as other plugins in the the InstalledPlugins/Plugins directory 5.
