No worries about the delay, I realise you have to test things fully before release. I'm grateful that you've tried to implement a fix already. I did a hard reset on my router and restarted. I do connect to the internet through another device on my network (directly from a pc on the network) so maybe this was causing the problem. I tried shutting down this PC and reinstalling iPeng and starting again but still no luck. Since then I have managed to get it to work!!! But only in the following scenario: I turn off the iPod and then when I turn it back on, I start iPeng immediately before the iPod has time to connect to the network. iPeng then starts fine, saying that there is no player connected. After a few seconds, the iPod successfully registers on the network and then iPeng recognises the Squeezecenter and successfully connects. Would you expect this behaviour given your explanation of the problem? Of course, if I close iPeng and restart it, it doesn't work. I have to turn off the iPod and repeat the procedure above to make it work and sometimes, I can't start iPeng quickly enough to beat the network connection. Anyway, if you are sure that my problem is as you say, I'll happily wait for the update and use this workaround for the timebeing. BTW, having now been able to use the app, I have a smile on my face.
