First of all, thank you Michael, for responding to my email.
I keep getting a strange message in my maintenance log for SlimNAS. The SlimNAS service will never start, no matter what version of SqueezeCenter I use. I have the i386 version of FreeNAS fully installed on a partitioned hard drive. The OS partition is about a gig, so there is plenty of space. I keep getting the same repeated errors in the logs: [09-05-14 15:46:39.3698] Slim::Schema::init (154) Warning: Creating new database - empty database or database from 6.3.x found [09-05-14 15:46:39.4567] DBIx::Migration::migrate (115) Warning: Database error: Table 'slimserver.metainformation' doesn't exist at /mnt/RAID5/SlimNAS/squeezecenter/CPAN/DBIx/Migration.pm line 115. Obviously, there is a problem creating or replacing a database. Bad permissions, perhaps? I think it's a permissions problem because if I remove the integration of SlimNAS from FreeNAS, I still cannot manually delete the folder containing the SlimNAS stuff. When I delete it through Windows via SAMBA, it keeps discovering new items and repeatedly deleting them. I have left it go for an hour, but it still deletes stuff. I know the folder is not that big, maybe a few megabytes, which should only take a few seconds to delete. When I delete through FileZilla via FTP, it says permission denied. When I delete through the File Manager via the FreeNAS GUI, it says no such directory. Should I just try reinstalling everything into a new SlimNAS directory, or is this fixable? -- mheppner ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mheppner's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30314 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63371 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
