Extension Downloader does not install mplayer. AlienBBC will try to install mplayer on Windows as the Windows binary works on all Windows platforms. AlienBBC does not try to install mplayer on Linux as processor and kernel can be different on different systems.
Where did your mplayer come from as it nay not have RealAudio compiled ? Read carefully the FileTypes tabs - does it say mplayer.sh or mplayer ? If it says mplayer then it is likely you have installed SSODS. Have you installed SSODS ? If you are using SSODS, there are special non standard mods for AlienBBC - please read the SSODS FAQ.
