That sounds cool but won't work for amps controlled via RC5 will it? As I think they don't offer any feedback of the current position of the volume control.
Anyway, I now have the 'official' (i.e. not learned) system and command codes for my amp, but I find that the volume does not increase or decrease smoothly (if I hold it down, it only moves a couple of jerks).
