I have attached an updated file Fork.pm to replace the one in the plugin. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
To install & test 1. Stop SC 2. Download attached file and unzip into a temp area. 3. Save a copy of the current Fork.pm that is in InstalledPlugins/Plugins/CDplayer in case you need to revert. 4. Replace the InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Fork.pm by the downloaded one. 5. Delete the cdplayer.prefs file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Data aplikací\SqueezeCenter\prefs\plugin 6. Start SC and see if CD drive appears in CDplayer settings.
