I don't personally use When Stopped screensavers, so I'm not entirely surprised that something would be wrong with that mode.
As for setup, - start in Extras. - Set your default saver as a timed saver (time shouln't matter if the rest are Manual, but you're probably safer with some big value). - Set the rest as Manual. - Then go to Settings and assign that screensaver mode to SaverSwitcher When you want to switch savers, it's important that you tap the 0-9 buttons very quickly. Default SqueezeCenter behavior is that any press < 1.00 second is "short", but when you're in a screensaver controlled by SS, you need to hold each button *less than 0.25 sec* -- any press between 0.25 and 1.25 is handled by SC. In Off mode, 0-9 are normally mapped as "dead", so a too-long press is unlikely to mess anything up there. Bottom line, just tap the 0-9 button and then accept the fact that it'll take a fractionof a second more before SS switches savers on you. If the 0-9 button mapping drives you nuts, you could also look at ContextMenu. If you have SS and ContextMenu installed and you're in a screensaver, you can hold the right arrow to get a ContextMenu choice for changing the screensaver, picking it by name. With this, there's no need to do any SS setup, nor to tell SC to use SS for any screensavers. CM+SS also lets you really easily start the When Playing screensaver if you've started up music and don't want to wait for the normal screensaver timeout. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver ContextMenu FuzzyTime KidsPlay KitchenTimer PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64407 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
