I have recently tried setting a daily alarm on my bedroom's Squeezebox receiver and have encountered a frustrating problem.
With the iPlayer plugin installed, I have set the live stream of BBC Radio 2 as a Favourite and selected this as the alarm sound. The timeout is set at the maximum 90 minutes, with fade enabled. After the 90 minutes the sound fades out, but immediately after this has happened the audio feed resumes at full volume meaning I have to manually turn it off everyday before leaving the house.
