Software players like SoftSqueeze are not guaranteed to sync. Software players have too many issues with hardware and driver latencies that SqueezeCenter cannot control. Software player sync works with some combinations of pc hardware & software, but not others. If you want really robust sync, you need to go with hardware players (SBs).
