Thanks to Rob from the Dutch squeezbox forum I found the problem. The extensiedownloader puts IRBlaster into the folder: /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins
When installing manually, I put it in: /volume1/SqueezeCenter/Plugins The systeem copies it to: /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Plugins So when using the extensiedowmloader, the folder /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Plugins/IRBlaster does not exist. But the plugin expects the configuration files there. So by making the folder there and copying slim.conf to it, it is possible to select the 'slim' device in the IRBlaster settings (after restarting SqueezeCenter). Somewhere in a settings file of the IRBlaster I have seen a path to /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Plugins/IRBlaster I think when you chaged it to /share/MD0_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/IRBlaster it will work too, put I didn't try that.
