You may want to try installing tomorrow's nightly release of SqueezeCenter when it becomes available.

With the new SrvrPowerCtrl code, wakeup monitoring is now non-optional. So, it would be a vary easy addition to the code do disable idle monitoring after the idle-expire event...and re-enable idle monitoring again when the wakeup watchdog barks..i.e. when the system resumes from suspend or hibernation. That ought to do it, don't you think?
