I read earlier in this thread that saving playlists will be in version 1.1 or 1.2. In case I haven't noticed, is this feature supported yet? If not, any timetable yet for this?
I would really love to see this feature on iPeng. I have no playlists simply because I hate the web interface. Also, the only time it occurs to me that I should save a playlist is when I'm listening (and away from the computer). I know I could use the remote but typing is an absolute pain. Besides, I hardly use the remote anymore since getting iPeng. :) By the way, one cool thing with the iPeng is that I can now shutdown my NAS using my iPhone (provided the SvrPowerControl plugin is installed on SC). Which reminds me, I think the WOL feature is very useful but I don't want it done on iPeng startup. Sometimes, I just want to use SqueezeNetwork. No point waking up my NAS for that. So, would it be possible to add a user controlled trigger for the WOL feature? Actually, the option could be added to "Additional servers". Perhaps let users configure optional WOL for any servers that they manually add. I think that would be nice. I can use SqueezeNetwork and when I decide to switch to my own server, iPeng will automatically wake it up. Oops, this post has gotten quite long. To recap, 2 feature requests: 1) Save playlist 2) Wake-on-LAN option for "Additional servers" -- Aylwin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aylwin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=138 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
