Except for 5live stations, the non UK Live and Listen Again streams are at 48k and use AAC+ codec.
The AAC+ codec is a more recent codec and supposed to sound better than the older RealAudio codec. Menus are faster to load because the basic feed is XML which is quicker to process than the Web pages which AlienBBC uses.
