Ok, I just tested using today's 28459 build and SugarCube still fails
when the seed track or next track has extended characters in its
path/filename. But... MusicIP mixes are now working correctly. The
resulting playlists include tracks with extended characters. The
resulting mix can be generated from a seed that has extended characters
and this seed track is included as the first track in the playlist.
This was not the case before revision 28457 inluced in build 28459.

Well, there is still something wrong here... maybe more than one thing
changed after SC 7.4 build 26558 that broke both MusicIP and SugarCube.
What I don't know is if the change that was made that broke SugarCube
was a change that required the SugarCube plugin to be modified to comply
with a new approach of the new builds or if this change actually broke
something that SugarCube used to support extended characters.

When the seed has extended characters and SugarCube is enabled the
following error is generated:

[07:57:06.9161] Slim::Control::Request::notify (2104) Error: Failed
notify: Can't escape \x{FFFD}, try uri_escape_utf8() instead at
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SugarCube/Plugin.pm line
1165

When the seed track has no extended characters, but the next one that
is selected does... SugarCube generates following error messages: (The
next track selected exists in that location)

[07:59:18.6388] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::selecttrack (1330)
Track Add Failed; D:\MULTIMEDIA\FLAC Music
Library\Latin\¡Cubanismo!\Malembe\07. Cubanismo Llegó.flac
