It didn't even have a clip/crop function so I had to implement that myself for splitting dawn and dusk hemisphere.
The only manipulation I do in lua today is to resize the images to the correct size and to clip the hemisphere images so it's possible to only show the dawn or dusk. Ideally it should really also take latitude into account so you can get your region centered but then it's starting to get complex as I suspect it's hard to find image data for all possible latitude and longitude combinations. I think I'll wait a bit to get some more feedback before doing anything more advanced. However, if anyone finds good hemisphere images that already have the daylight shadowing applied from various longitudes, let me know because that would be easier to use than doing it directly in lua. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68106 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
