Gordon, FYI this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68248 prompted me to check again and I found a way to replicate the login/logout blockers you have deployed on mac OS to Gnome desktops. That's not as standard as X11, but gdm is a good start.
See what I wrote in that tread (msg #5) and this for authoritative information : http://projects.gnome.org/gdm/docs/2.24/configuration.html This needs testing. My linux machines are headless, and more debian than ubuntu. I tried what I told to the guy on a VM machine, xubuntu 8.10. Of course it has no PM at all. I just tested by touching files in /tmp. But I'm pretty sure it works ok. -- epoch1970 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
