Could be. Overall the experience was confusing. The clean install just
losted ED amongst the other plugins. I had to go to setings and then
attempt to add the plugins I wanted. When I redid this and restarted the
SqeezeWhatever process the only thing that seemed to happen was that ED
had taken over the plugins page, none of the plugins I'd selected had
installed. I clicked all the ones I wanted to install again and
restarted the service. This time some installed. I did this again,
clicking the ones that had not installed and I think all installed but
Line Out. Next install and restart managed to get Line Out to install
too.

To restart the service I always used restart on my PCs Windows Services
console.

BTW. I thought I'd done a clean install. I uninstalled 7.3.3 via
Add/Remove programs, then deleted anything that was left in Program
Files/SqueezeWhatever and D&S/All Users/SqueezeWhatever. However,
despite this the 7.4 install managed to pick some settings up from
somewhere.

Think the third party Squeeze plugins and applets are important?
Then 'vote for bug 14194'
(http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14194) so more can be
made.
