I discovered Switch Player reading today's thread about its controller
icon.
Until now I use OtherPlayers (it's missing an icon as well). It works
well but since switching to a new player and powering off the former one
is all I always do, Switch Player seems a good fit.

However: I have tried it w/ 2 SB3s, each one controlling its amp via
IR-Blaster. When I "switch to", the receiving player+amp starts ok. But
the player that is supposed to shutdown goes power off **without
powering off the amp**. This happens on both players. The amps are of
different makes.
Other Players doesn't have this problem when using its power on/off
commands.

Funnily(?) I have noticed the same bypass of IR-Blaster when switching
between 2 instances of SC (7.3). Apparently SC remembers the last power
status for the player and wants to restore it. But it does so without
IR-Blaster noticing it.

Could there be more than one way to say "turn off" to a player ? Is the
problem with IR-Blaster?

(I use a few plugins such as powersaver, weather date and time,
saverswitcher.)
