I know you're correct about this; however, if Logitech wants to
establish a broader customer base, I think they're going to need to take
more responsibility for ensuring that plugins work before they release
an update. Many people just expect a product they buy to work, and they
don't make any distinctions regarding 3rd-party developers. It all comes
from Logitech's website, after all.

As a comparison, imagine what would happen if half the apps on the
iPhone or Touch stopped working when Apple released a software update,
and Apple's only response was, "Third-party developers! And you're
screwed until they decide to fix it!" As it is, I've upgraded my Touch
multiple times, and I don't think a third-party app has ever stopped
working. Maybe Logitech could learn something from this model.
