As I've understood all developers that knows the MusicIP source code has left the company, so the development of MusicIP is halted and has been so for a while.
The statement: "Amplified currently has no plans to offer support for MusicIP Mixer." which is shown on the download page also makes it pretty clear that they have no plans to update the MusicIP code.
