I contacted NPR and they responded that that will "correct the problem".
Strangely enough, thin.npr.org still shows the full graphics version but now the SB plugin has started working again! I am not sure how this plugin is implemented but I like the fact that individual segments in ATC and other programs can be played and there is also that Play All Items option. Regarding podcasts, as we discussed at http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70611 both SB and the audio source/server should support pausing/resuming, seeking and proper playlist management, that will be great.
