I'd prefer that Custom Scan only makes it possible to scan more tags, not change the logic how Squeezebox Server scans them.
What do you see in the standard Song Info page in the web interface that only displays Year, does it also say 1980 ? If it says 1980 is sounds like the Squeezebox Server scanning routines prefers "original release time" over "release time". How did the Song Info page worked earlier in 7.3 ?
