I don't have a 2-disk QNAP, but assume that yours is configured with the 1st and 2nd disks configured under RAID such that if one fails you simply remove and replace it, and you carry on unaffected. If you switch-off RAID, you should still have 100% integrity of one disk with all your data, etc, but you will have to specify what you want the second disk to do, meaning scheduled backups . If you subsequently decide to switch back to RAID, the second disk becomes invisible and QNAP automatically handles the process. So, give it a go! -- majones ------------------------------------------------------------------------ majones's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13029 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70812 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
