I've narrowed down the problem to changes made in 7.5.0 r29380.
I think there is a second problem somewhere between 29360 and 29375 ( I
think ) the following error starts to appear - it seems to be benign but
I have to choose a program twice to get it to play otherwise the
previous program plays
