radio streams must be 44.1KHz 16-bit stereo for squeezeslave. If not, you need to setup transcoding...'see' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=469307) post 10. Note, there's a bug in SBS 7.4+ which causes problems if you switch steams quickly. Read the whole thread for details.
Also, when this happens switch to the classic skin ie. http://localhost:9000/classic, select the SS player, is "play" still an orange colour? If yes, click the word "stop" and then play another stream to see if you get sound.
